CHANGE OF SEASONS Echoes in Sadness CD Single |
"This is superb unclassifiable indiepop that doesn't pander to cliche: reverb-heavy impassioned jangle pop that could easily have graced the Flying Nun roster." - Melody Bar |

"Hailing from Toronto, Change Of Seasons existed for only a few years, and released only one single on Egg Records in 1991, and though they broke up over a decade ago, this long-lost single (and eventually, an album) is finally seeing the light of day. They play (well, played) moody, jangly pop influenced by the Chills & Galaxie 500, and would've been an excellent sister band to Small Factory, who were making very similar music just 400 miles away. The title track to this single is taken from their forthcoming posthumous album, but the other three songs (all of which I prefer to the A-side, to be honest) are exclusive to this release.
