Baby Lemonade were formed at some point in 1986 and within a few months recording demos and releasing "The Jiffy Neckwear Creation" flexi, The Sounds Record of the Week in Feb 1987. The original band line up only played a handful of gigs, with the debut gig in Edinburgh (Dec 86) consisting of a 3 original numbers plus 2 covers, then the first number was repeated ! The debut single on Narodnik records was released 27th June 87 (5 weeks in NME indie charts, highest chart position number 9) produced by Douglas Hart (The Jesus and the Marychain). After some line up changes an LP followed late in 1988.
